Hosts Catastrophe Modelling Conference June 2-4

Catastrophe risk modelling firm EQECAT, Inc., will host a three-day conference, Creating Value Through Increased Transparency, beginning June 2 at 12:00 pm and ending on June 4 at 1:00 pm to be held at Vienna Marriott Hotel, Parkring 12a, Vienna, 1010 Austria. The conference will provide professionals in the global re/insurance industry with a greater understanding of the need to manage natural catastrophe risk. The cost to attend the three day conference is €875 prior to May 1, and €995 from May 2– June 1.

The conference begins on June 2 with a panel discussion of industry experts on Solvency II and implications for catastrophe modelling. In addition, Dr. Johnny Chan, Director, Guy Carpenter Asia-Pacific Climate Impact Centre, City University of Hong Kong, will discuss tropical cyclone prediction on seasonal or longer time scales on June 3.
