EQECAT Hosts 2011 Catastrophe Modelling Conference in US and London

EQECAT, Inc., a catastrophe risk modeling firm, will host two conferences to help professionals in the US and European re/insurance industry gain a deeper understanding of how uncertainty is managed throughout the catastrophe risk modeling process. The US event will be held in Miami from March 30 to April 1, 2011 at Eden Roc Resort & Spa. The European conference will be held May 17 and 18, 2011 in London at America Square Conference Centre. Early bird online registration for Miami is now available at $995 USD.
EQECAT's conferences are designed for re/insurance industry professionals, specifically C-level executives (including chief risk officers and chief underwriting officers) and catastrophe risk underwriters, managers, analysts, and technology staff.
Speakers will include experts from the scientific and re/insurance communities, who will discuss the latest developments in scientific research and industry trends. EQECAT scientists, engineers and product managers will share innovations in catastrophe modeling and provide an overview of EQECAT's rearchitecture project and its plans for the next three years. Speaker submissions are currently being accepted for the Miami conference.
Conference attendees will have access to a dedicated training/demo room where EQECAT's professional services and technical staff will be available for questions, training, and live software demos.
