EQECAT Voted Professional Service Provider of the Year

On August 30, 2000 in London, The Review - Worldwide Reinsurance announced the recipients of its annual awards. Regarded as the industry's foremost awards event, The Review has chosen EQECAT as the recipient of the Professional Service Provider of the Year award. EQECAT was praised for "providing detailed and accurate risk assessment and measurement facilitating a number of well documented placements and securitizations. EQECAT's ability to assist clients in re-engineering risk was particularly praised." The judges also stated that "EQECAT's work is admirable. The company specializes in catastrophe risk analysis, but goes beyond that and accumulates data to actively do something. A very big part of EQECAT is its ability to re-engineer risk to make organizations less risk prone; it has been particularly successful in re-engineering multiple location corporations."
