Report Into the Storm "Jeanette", 27th October, 2002

The storm "Jeanette" moved across the west coast of Ireland in the early hours of 27th October, and during the following day moved across northern England, the North Sea, Denmark and into Sweden. The meteorological conditions that gave rise to the storm caused a rather complex pattern of windspeeds across Europe, as is revealed in EQECAT's detailed mapping of the 3-second gust windspeeds across Europe.
