WORLDCATenterprise™ Version 3.8 Released and Upcoming Updates

EQECAT released WORLDCATenterprise™ (WCe) v3.8 in June 2006 which has updated more than 35 new peril / region models. The model updates were for wind (hurricanes, typhoons), earthquakes and flood. These updates span perils that have historically been identified as catastrophes (U.S. earthquake) as well as newer peril models that are only now being identified as global-scale catastrophes (U.S. flood).

Subsequent to the release, modifications and improvement were made to the release to address any defects that were reported or observed by EQECAT staff or by clients.

The purpose of this document is to list the updates issued by EQECAT to correct any problems found with the initial Release of WCe v3.8 and highlight the upcoming updates.
