Understanding the EQECAT Data Schema - Primary Portfolio

WORLDCAT enterprise uses a relational database to manage the complex data requirements for modelling the various exposure and insurance structures. The tables in the database are described in the datadict.hlp file distributed with the product. Although the product hides the complexity behind an easy to use interface, it can be instructive to have some understanding of the relationships between these tables. This document illustrates the principal tables used for Primary Portfolios.
