The TURKEY Earthquake Model

The seismic hazard model for Turkey is a completely new model compiled after a comprehensive review of the earthquake studies and earthquake data for Turkey, including the extensive studies resulting from the Izmit earthquake of 17 August 1999. The major components of the hazard model are the seismotectonic model, the attenuation models and the soil amplification model.
