EQECAT is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art risk management software and consulting services to the insurance industry and major corporations worldwide.

In 2006, EQECAT has updated more than 35 new peril / region models in the WCe. The model updates are for wind (hurricanes, typhoons), earthquakes and flood. These updates span perils that have historically been identified as catastrophes (U.S. earthquake) as well as newer peril models that are only now being identified as global-scale catastrophes (U.S. flood).
