JapanQuake Technical Documentation

JapanQuake is EQECAT’s state-of-the-art software for modelling earthquake risk in Japan, available as part of the WORLDCATenterprise platform or as standalone desktop software. Advantages of JapanQuake are its high resolution stochastic event set, detailed seismic model, and vulnerability functions based on a large amount of insurance loss and engineering data. This document summarizes the technical basis for the key components of the model.
