EQESTOCK Version 3.1.00

The EQESTOCK™ database includes a family of imported portfolios ready to use with the EQECAT software. These portfolios are used to estimate total insured losses from the wind, shake or fire following (FFE) perils. Figure 1 shows the different components of this database for the US, Japan and Canada.

The EQESTOCK™ portfolios provide a statistical estimate of residential, commercial, and industrial in-force property insurance exposures based on typical wind and earthquake insurance policies (e.g. market penetration, deductibles, limits, and coverages).
