Peter Beresford, Director - Product Management

Peter Beresford is Director of Product Management at EQECAT, Inc.

Since joining the company in 1991, he has worked on the development of several catastrophe modeling products, from the initial UKWind program through several earthquake and windstorm models until they were subsumed into the WORLDCATenterprise™ platform.

Mr. Beresford has 40 years experience in the development of software tools for engineering risk assessment, particularly in relation to natural hazards such as earthquakes and wind loading. He has experience on all aspects of the product development process; for many years in software design and production, as well as testing and validation, and most recently in technical documentation, user training, product support and troubleshooting.

He earned a B.S. in Engineering Science from the University of Warwick, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Chartered Mathematician.
