Rodney Griffin, Vice President - Product Management

Rodney Griffin is Vice President of Product Management at EQECAT, Inc. He joined EQECAT in April of 2012 and is responsible for managing and overseeing the Product Management Group and its activities.

Mr. Griffin has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry both on the carrier side and in the vendor solution space. Mr. Griffin has more than 10 years of experience in product management and product marketing. Prior to joining EQECAT, he was SVP of Product Management at StoneRiver, formerly known as Fiserv Insurance Solutions, covering both Life & Health as well as Property & Casualty practices.

Prior to moving to the United States, Mr. Griffin was Chief Information Officer for Southern Life Association Ltd. which operated in 16 countries in Europe and Africa. He has worked for four insurance carriers during his career, primarily in the system development and actuarial areas.

He earned a BSc in Information Systems & Applied Statistics from the University of South Africa. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London, UK) by examination, a recognized Chartered Insurer (London, UK) and a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in the USA. Rodney has also undertaken a number of insurance carrier strategic planning engagements in the USA, Australia, and Southern Africa.
